I don't know which would be better/worse - learning everything for the first time (and being frustrated when it doesn't work and not knowing quite WHY it doesn't work) or re-learning everything you once knew (and being frustrated when it doesn't work the way you KNOW it ought to). Still, there are lots of worse ways to spend some time, so from that perspective it's all good.

Best of luck to you as well!Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09689588372003266118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4392710786116947267.post-36662104707231683152010-06-09T15:56:13.980-04:002010-06-09T15:56:13.980-04:00Hey, I know what you mean. Frustrating; nowhere near the (slight) speed I used to have. But you do have a good sampling of tunes; I'm kinda back to 'baby tunes' (Amazing Grace; Jambalaya, etc.,) until it finally stops hurting, and some modicum of speed returns.

Good luck on your music adventure!Rich R.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02168230598636936519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4392710786116947267.post-22975567157628738912010-03-09T13:01:13.781-05:002010-03-09T13:01:13.781-05:00That was amazing! I know it takes a really lonnnggg time for some of us to master a point at which we can look forward to sitting down and playing for our own pleasure - and actually enjoying it.

It can only get better (of course, with lots of practice).Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01593172702596304564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4392710786116947267.post-85490417935706478182010-03-09T09:03:45.583-05:002010-03-09T09:03:45.583-05:00While my ukulele gently weeps.
