Welcome!

Hello there, gentle reader. You've found your way to my blog, may heaven have mercy on your soul. It's intended to be something of a writing journal, or, more accurately, a journal where I can write. I had planned to create such a journal as a way to re-engage with the writing process, and decided that putting it online might be more fun and interesting. So here it is.

At some point, I intend to update this several times a week, however I'm currently somewhat ahead of schedule. I found a topic today about which I decided I wanted to write. So I'm going live with this blog even though I'm not really ready to begin updating it regularly. Though now that I'm diving right in, I expect I'll try to do so anyway.

So, on to the first actual entry!
